Lisa Laughter is a dynamic force in the realm of personal empowerment and career development. As a Senior Career Coach, motivational speaker, and professional life coach, she brings over 25 years of experience in academic advising and higher education administration to her role. Lisa's journey began at Washington State University, where she held various advising and administrative positions before blazing a trail as the inaugural Career Coach at UC Davis and UC Davis Health.

In her tenure, Lisa has spearheaded transformative initiatives such as Career Development Week, Career Design Lab, and CliftonStrengths Trainings, fostering a culture of professional growth and self-discovery. Her commitment to individual empowerment is further underscored by her credentials as an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach, Certified Clifton Strengths Coach, and Prosci Change Management practitioner. Lisa also leads with her strengths of Connectedness, Empathy, Arranger, Developer, and Relator, helping her build deep connections and create supportive environments for growth.

Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa is deeply rooted in her community, serving as a devoted soccer mom, outdoor enthusiast, and dedicated volunteer on non-profit boards. She shares her home in Davis with her daughter Ellie and their faithful companion, Gary the dog.
