Andrea joined the Shared Services Organization in November 2023, bringing with her 15 years of HR and Payroll experience. Most recently, Andrea spent five years leading the Distributed Shared Service Center (DISSC) in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences at UC Davis. Andrea is committed to providing excellent service to our clients and leading an engaged and supported team. Andrea has an Associates Degree in Social and Behavioral Science and is a SHRM certified HR Professional. She enjoys reading, playing volleyball, live music and cheering on her kids at their many activities.
Ali Marie Cordone

Ali Marie Cordone has extensive experience in student and employee records. She came to the SSO in October, 2019 after a nine year stint with the Office of the University Registrar at UC Davis. While in the Records Unit, now Onboarding and Workforce Compliance, she has filled roles as supervisor, managing 23 employees under Robert Petit, and in 2024 was promoted to Associate Director, where she now oversees two teams that ensure the data integrity for all Health staff and nurse employees.

Kevin Peterson has been an Aggie since 2007, when he transferred to UCD as an English major. After graduating in 2010, Kevin attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned a Master’s in English Literature. He then returned to UC Davis to pursue a PhD in English Literature. His supportive style was heavily influenced from his time in leadership at Walmart.

Ami Tripp brings twenty years of experience at UC Davis to the HR Coordinator team. Ami most recently served as Assistant Director for Student Employment, where she was responsible for policy and procedures for student employment on campus. She holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration and was led to UC Davis by her love for higher education - where her work experience lies - since graduating from the University of Minnesota. In her free time, Ami enjoys traveling and reading.

Prior to coming to the UC in July 2014, Marcie spent seventeen years in the private sector in the accounting, payroll, and human resources field. She has been in Central Payroll for the duration of her time with UC Davis, serving as a payroll processor. In 2022 Marcie completed her BA in Accounting to help catapult her to the next level of her career. She possesses the following traits: dependable, great customer service and willingness to roll up her sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Her ability to connect with people coupled with her 25 years overall experience makes her a great addition to the SSO team. Marcie is happy to be a part of the Shared Services Organization and looks forward to continued excellence with her team."
Evelyn Almeida

Evelyn brings 25 Years of Human Resources and Payroll Experience to her supervisory role for Health Records. Of those 25, she has 18 years of supervisory experience. Evelyn oversees a staff who analyze, process, and maintain comprehensive employment records for UCDHS staff employees. She has been described as "a results-focused individual." Outside of work, Evelyn is a wife and mom, and is committed to her school district advocating for diversity and anti-bullying. She is fluent in Tagalog and speaks a little Nihongo. Evelyn also enjoys the outdoors, hanging out with family and friends, and visiting and having picnics in wineries.

Prior to UC Davis, Monica worked at Kaiser Permanente for over 15+ years, starting her career in Payroll, then moving through Staffing, Human Resources, and finally Management positions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Administration right before the pandemic and is excited to pursue her passion in Human Resources with UC Davis. Outside of work, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, friends, and family. Her hobbies include her children’s sports activities, volunteering in the community, wine tasting, and listening to live music.
